runnyeye population

I've been hunting near runnyeye/gorge area lately, and I've been wondering why the population in RE is always so low? It seems like such an awesome place to xp and decent loot, but nobody ever seems to hunt here.

I've heard reasons like 'its too far out of the way' but its no worse than highpass or unrest. Is there something I'm missing? Non exp dungeon bonus or something? Id like some insight, cuz imo the zone is awesome

its just an extremely large dungeon that is extremely unsafe. there are 4 large levels, a lvl 38 mob running around the entire zone (borxx), easy to get lost....


but i love it at lvl 50 :p fun to farm the king lol

Quite a few caster mobs in runnyeye, and we all know what caster mobs do to you :p

Borxx also buffs the NPCs all along his pathing which can mean even if you avoid him, unless you have a cleric to dispel every mob, it just plain sucks.

/shrug... I've got my lvl 17 ranger parked in Runnyeye if anyone's looking to group. I'll frequently check /who all runnyeye from my alt. Everyone gushes about the sick ZEM in Unrest while they're restricted to 1 pull every five minutes due to overcrowdedness. A lot of good the awesome ZEM does them when they're only getting half the pulls they could be getting in the same amount of time elsewhere. ;)

I tried to head over there last week but I got stuck in HPH. I forgot how hard it is to travel as a warrior, and as a Dark Elf. It seemed easier when there were 1500-2000 people on the server.

Definitely did a few levels in Runnyeye. Picked up a BIBS and other assorted Blackened Iron gear for my SK. Was great, except when Borrx showed up... but we found that camping in the Knight room eliminated that problem. Maybe we just got lucky?

Its great, and you think you found a special place with siiick xp and loot, you are there for 2-4 hours and then IT happens.

You shit your pants because a 15 foot tall NAMED eyeball runs in the room from FUCKING NOWHERE, scares the shit out of everybody paying attention, has like 2-4 adds with him and he kills your group in 20 seconds easy.

Then he can see invis during your corpse run so your corpse draggers die 1-3 more times and it takes you an hour to get ready for more pulls but the eyeball asshole is still lurking your camp. May as well port out. LOL
