TERA, holy crap is it terrible. I played it for maybe an hour before uninstalling it. So fuk off diggle and sparkle bitch idc about fuk

First, the good on TERA. It's a very pretty game. The graphics are seriously excellent. Not a surprise being Unreal engine, my favourite.

The pace in TERA is slow. Painfully slow. It's the same ol' MMO problem of walking around way too long with nothing happening. The pretty landscapes are enough to hold you over for a bit, but eventually you just get sick of it.

I suspect TERA will be the fastest MMO shutdown since All Point Bulletin's 6-weeks.

All TERA did was rip off the combat a lil, but Dragon Nest was out before TERA and is infinitely better, with more crap to do and free. Its engine is a source port of Doom engine.

It's not the fact that they're azn, it's the fact that there's so many of them, and to be honest a lot of them are the same generic grindfest with very little substantial content, and overpriced cash shops.

I've played a few of them. Some are better than others but they all follow the same tired formula, focusing on combat and pretty effects and forgetting almost all else.

theres this game by the same company called Vindictus I'm going to try it out tonight. Its gameplay is somewhat similar but the graphics aren't cartoony.

word. i tried a korean mmo called Aika. gay as fuck but pvp is on a mass scale. nation vs nation. was fun while it lasted but need cash shop to compete with all the kids on here. one cool aspect was the player run gov't. once a week guilds can take part in something called a "castle siege" where the winning guild takes control over your nation (there are 5 nations.) anyways vid looks cool but not sure i can do another mmo besides EVE and the occasional eq/random mmo.

edit: just saw this game is run by nexom. they did a great job with combat arms (a f2p fps.) meh well see.

i tried tera and dragon nest combat is so 9000x better the two arent even comparable. tera is so laughably bad and clunky

game with tera gfx & dn gameplay would be best game
