This marks the first public opening of the massive, persistent player vs. player war zone where over two hundred players clash in adrenaline-fueled battles for power and world domination! Stonehenge and Eldorado are also opening up, allowing smaller groups of players to fight for control over the power held within these legendary locations.
In addition to all these exciting, new player vs. player experiences, all content from the previous Beta Weekends will be available.
This is the final Beta Weekend before launch on July 3rd and we are ending with a bang. Everyone who has ever registered for The Secret World beta will get access to this final Beta Weekend. This is also true for anyone who has not registered yet but still registers by Friday, June 22nd.

The game would have been awesome say oh 2005, but today it's kinda meh... as usual there hasn't really been a game like Everquest and even though WoW has attracted an incredible amount of players, the challenge factor is about a 1 out of 10...

Looks like a DC online clone without the superheros lol.

Will buy it when retail is released and play it until it no longer interests me, just like every other game.

Dude it's a weird fps mmo hybrid thats has been done 1000 times. We also know from swtor that in depth story lines in mmos don't get you subs.

It's like saying Twilight is the same as Camelot because Gwynivere (Bella) runs off with Lancelot (Jacob) only to return for Arthur (Edward).

My post was based on actually playing the beta... I was simply not impressed, enough said imho.

Seriously...people come on I just made a statement that all novelty has left the world since all literature ever has just been a mere re-telling of the same story and that story is Twilight.
I wanna see suicide videos being posted in the next few minutes. Slice slice.

Absolutely zero FPS qualities in this game. Confirmed didn't play it at all.

Like I said, I played the beta, the gameplay is terrible and the graphics are god awful. Not a good combo.

Guns that have skills with no crosshair and have to target people to attack. FPS port to a mmorpg world that looks a lot like DC online.

Guns you don't have to aim = farthest from a FPS as you can possibly get.

It is pretty meh, but there are some interesting elements to it.
Being able to learn all of the skills in the game (given you take the time to gather that much XP), no classes, so no restrictions on what you can be at any time. So now anyone can take any role and not be restricted to whatever class they chose to start with. Don't want to be the healer for this weeks guild raid? The guy that was the Tank last week can be the healer this week (if those roles are needed in the high end, don't know what the "raiding" will be like in this game), without having to 'level up' several alts.
Investigation missions. These are a nice change of pace, with vague clues as to where you're supposed to go next, you actually have to spend some time thinking. Of the ones I did though sometimes the clues were too vague and just left you going "huh?". Or you went off to several places that fit the clue, but weren't right. But they do warn you that they're hard, and I still thought they were fun, even with the sometimes frustrating clues.
The setting. There's just not many Modern day Apocalypse MMO's out there.
I don't see myself paying a subscription fee to play, but when it goes Free-to-play I might hop on for a bit.
