Rogue differences from Classic?

Hey all - I heard someone mention that the Backstab mechanics are different on P99 than they were in classic, and rogues are non-terrible as a result.

Does anyone have the math behind the changes? Just curious what's different, considering rolling one at some point.

I remember the Backstab formula being changed.. having something to do with daggers with higher than 15 base damage (aka anything better than Ragebringer, and the reason it has 15 damage) causing abnormally high damage.

someone told me that during classic you could backstab for 1 damage just like how your auto attack can sometimes go that low.

Dunno if that's true, but on p99 I never have backstabbed for less than about half of my max.
