Was a nice respectable way I like it fight to the finish for CT and I give TMO props. We'll get ya'll next time.

Exactly how it should be.

Now do you guys want more of that? I do. Let's get some repop action!

I agree 100%. This was a fun, clean and competitive raid for all parties (I hope fun for all parties). No trash talk, no agro-crossing. DT cycles are a pain any way you slice them. Not much you can do about that.

I hope everyone there had fun.

Seriously Stinking clerics with their jobs and needing to feed families. I was buffing at prep for 30 minutes! Everybody was having their /glare on, teeth gnashed, ready to get in there.

You guys have to get quicker on the campout calls on DT cycles! I couldn't help but feel bad for you all after a while. There was that one DT cycle that I think only stopped after it had hit your entire raid.

This is mostly unrelated, but if you FD before a DT cycle starts, will you get DTed or will CT ignore you? Same with hide/other types of effects. I ask because it seems this was changed recently.

When I played, being FD before or after didn't matter you still got DT'd.

Yeah I think if you are in zone when the cycle starts you are a possible canidate of CT placing his hands on you in an uncomfortable way =)

During the CT being bugged I got DT'd after camping out and coming back, DT'd again and then DT'd again after rezzed it was awesome, like Jerry Sandusky

Hard to say if you are added to DT cycle if you are FD BEFORE first agro/DT. My guess is yes. More importantly though, you can absolutely be DT'd WHILE FD and I do not recommend FD'ing and /q. You will be in world longer for the DT. Camping out is best/only option.

However, there is some anecdotal evidence that suggests mages can CoTH to avoid DT cycle. Maybe there is real evidence, I just don't have it=)

Several times we got very unlucky with cycles starting while we had ~5 mobs or more in camp, so we had to kill them before camping out. On the one you're referring to I believe we had just moved to north wall and had about 8 or so mobs in camp. Unfortunate for sure!

not only can you coth and avoid it, you can levant/zone evac to avoid it. I've used levant a few time when I knew the levant spot was being kited or cleared.

you need to camp out and back in while fighting, it's usually so staggered that it won't matter and you will lose way less people. Just takes a few tanks to do their jobs and keep mobs occupied while the majority of people do a quick relog.

Edit: roots, mezzes and other CC help as well.

when DT cycle is started it will create a agro "list" of everyone in the zone- fd or otherwise- you used to be able to FD and clear it- but that was wayback when FD was instant memwipe. - this was useful because all your necro/monk/sks would stay and CC/kill mobs while the entire raid camped out an in making the process more efficient.

I have not tested now if you FD after and STAY FD if you will get DTed while FD or when you stand...would be interesting next time to FD after a cycle starts and stay FD until it 'stops' stand and see if you get blown up :-P

This seems to have changed. If you heal someone who is on the DT list, it seems you get back on it even if you just camped. It could have been separate DT cycles, but so far it seems like it wasn't.

Must not work thru buffs, b/c i've hit people with DMF right before they got DT'd and it never spread back to me after relogging.

You DMFed and THEN relogged. This situation is relog -> buff -> get DTed. You were removed from the DT list when you relogged, but have added yourself back onto it via buff/heal. If you buff, then relog, you were never added back onto the hate list.

No, I've buffed after relogging to watch that same person get DT'd and not relog till the next cycle and not get DT'd before. I remember doing it because I hit whoever it was right before they got DT'd and kinda laughed.
