I liked it but it wouldn't make a top 10 for me. From that era I like Dog Day Afternoon better.

Revolver was actully the next one, but didn't get a lot of play for some reason. I think there was some deal about it not being released in America until years after it was released in Europe (a lot like the movie "taken").

Also, if you like Guy Richie's style, check out "Layer Cake" with Daniel Craig. For the longest time I thought that it was a Guy Richie film.

Battle Royale (the first one not its sequel) is a great popcorn flick, no real deep meaning but an enjoyable spectacle! Although I disagree on the dubbed version, I prefer watching it in original Japanese with subtitles.

Speaking of Japanese movies, "Tokyo Drifter" is probably the most recent great movie I've watched.

I think Kick Ass is one of the best new movies I've seen in a while. While I do love Tarantino, I honestly think Matthew Vaughn has him beat here...

The manga is alot better than the movie. Every single kid in the manga has a backstory. I'd definitely recommend it.

Please to not be watching anything DUBBED. Subtitles are always the way to go. Battle Royale was cool, the 2nd one SUCKED.

Also, once it hits the torrent sites, I'm pretty sure I'll be adding Ong Bak 3 to this list. Tony Jaa is a fucking madman - if you haven't seen one of his movies, please do so.

The remake of Cape Fear with Nolte and Deniro is probably my favorite movie.

I really enjoy the part where Deniro sticks his thumb in a young Juliette Lewis' mouth =)

Any Mel Brooks movie besides Life Stinks? lol

I like lots of cheesy "fantasy" movies like Willow, The Princess Bride, The Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, Legend, Dragonslayer, Krull, The Beastmaster, etc.

Also cheesy sci fi of course like the first 3 Star Wars movies, The first 4-5 Star Trek movies, The Last Star Fighter, Alien(s), Flash Gordon, The Last Starfighter, Blade Runner, Terry Gilliam stuff like Brazil/Baron/Bandits (though some of that I guess could fall under fantasy), etc etc.

Guy Richie movies, Tarrantino movies, Wes Anderson movies, etc all quite amusing as well...

I don't really have any top 10 style favorites but then again I am not that into movies.

*shrug*

Scifi is my favorite genre so ill start with a couple of my favorites (that werent mentioned already):

- Delicatessen (Great cinematography, great decor, great actors, great script, great movie, i you like scifi and didnt see that, run for it.)

- The thing

- Mad max 2 (see this movie again and watch how the fallout intro was totally inspired by this movie, if you hadnt noticed before.)

- La planete sauvage (fantastic planet in english)

- Moon

- 12 monkeys

- The 2 alien pre-quels done by Ridley Scott (I am crossing my fingers that they are not watered down, appeal-to-the-teenage-ADD-crowd crap)
