So I've been working on some quests and wondering, anyone ever do HS/Charassis on this server? I've checking /who a few times and only ever seen one druid in there once. Anyone?

Spent a ton of time there around Kunark release, it was always packed once the keys started to flow. Did North wing in the low 50s then did like 58-60 in west when I could get a group together (I'm a druid). HS was one of the most popular zones in P99 for leveling pretty much up until VP release. By that point, everyone had HS keys and they were easy to get, but most people had already hit 60. Since the start of 2012 I haven't really seen much groupage in HS besides sniper teams going for named and soloing classes. It is still a fantastic zone though!

There are groups there relatively often, typically in N or W. Typically a necro or shm soloing zone or basement.

Most groups who go in there are pre-assembled guild groups. You'll find a lot of lone Shaman's soloing the entrance though. I've duoed (as a mage) the North Wing with a Shaman.

I'll go out on a limb and say that it's the best exp dungeon in Kunark. Once you get a good group there, it makes Seb exp seem like a crawl. Seb definately has the chance for more accesable loot per say, but in my opinion, the mobs have much less HP in the HS and for grinding you can't beat it.

id argue chardok has better xp if you can get the right group together, i grinde out 58 and 59 there and it seemed relatively painless. as far as HS goes i love and hate the zone, it can be super fun if you have the right group and are going there with a "dungeon crawl" in mind. but the good camps can be kind of a pain to get to and require dealing with some less than perfect pathing issues. plus cr's are a biotch(as a rogue i gauge a dungeons worth by how hard the cr's will be). d

The mobs in the north and west wings have less hp for their level than all other kunark mobs, so the exp can be very fast. If you do an ae group there you can clear all of north and west before repops. One thing to note though, mobs pathing from one wing to another will just go through walls (not sure if this is a bug), whereas mobs pathing from one point in their wing to another point in the same wing will path normally.

It is a great zone to XP in and a sort of scary zone at that. But remember your faction in THE OVERTHERE will go to crap.

After killing trash mobs in Seb and Chardok (omg so many hp's), North Wing mobs do have noticeable fewer hit points; however, with the DT'ing mobs, it can be dangerous if you do not plan for it.

I too have a love / hate relationship with HS. I do like it because it has great XP and nice drops. If you set up an XP group somewhere, you can keep pulling as fast as you can kill stuff as the respawn time is quite fast. I hate it for the evil time getting a CR done if you lack the proper classes.
I have had a mix of good times and bad times in there. Admittedly the better times have been with guild groups where people know their stuff. I've had bad experiences with pick up groups where the knowledge of people is hit and miss.
So, people do still go there but it can be a challenge at times to get a well-rounded group formed from random LFG people. Getting in a guild can be a big help towards being more successful at grouping in HS.

I've pick up grouped in there a handful of times. As long as you have a tank who can take the hits, a cleric who doesn't AFK without telling you, and someone who is good at CC'ing, you'll be fine in the North Wing. Just make sure everyone is aware of the false floors. Only time I've died in there is when I mistakingly pulled the East Stairs at entrance...and found out there weren't really stairs there.

In my PUG, we've handled bad pulls of 6-8 mobs just fine. There are only a few casters typically in a pull, so a combination of mez the casters/root the melees make splitting easy.

And the loot is awesome. XP is awesome. CRs...not so awesome. Questing to get into HS...not so awesome. Still, its a zone I think everyone should play around in atleast once. It's relaxing yet really hard.
