Hiding certain forums from New Posts

Would it be possible to add an opt out checkbox for the EC Tunnel subforum (similar to the RnF opt out)? I typically browse using New Posts, and it's pretty clogged up with EC posts. I'm sure those are useful to some, but not to me personally.

Alternatively, does anyone know of a setting that will restrict which subforums show up in New Posts?

you should be able to do it with any one you feel like opting out. that would be a nice feature to see on the forums.
