In xp groups, are you a liability if you end up having to tank? How much better does a sk/pal tank than you? How about if you're wearing ac/hp gear? Is downtime minimal if you've got a cleric ching you?

As long as the ranger isn't naked, you'll be fine.

We can tank normal grind stuff just fine. SK/Pal of course mitigate better, but a well geared ranger vs. a knight is kind of a wash in most situations. Depending on the situation, you'll probably have slightly more healer mana related downtime, but usually its not particularly noticeable. I wouldn't call it a liability. In a lot of groups, really you just need to hold its attention while the casters/rogues blow it to bits, and that works out fine with a ranger.

It felt broken for me at 54, but then again my gear was pretty terrible and I lacked AC. Monks are orders of magnitude less squishy and I think that's retarded.

Druid tanking Draco is the new hotness.
