Never played a cleric before, I am going to try and catch up to my brother who has a 15ish pally. What item(s) under 100pp (all I have on my "main") would help me level up a bit faster to catch up with him?

A decent weapon? suggestions?

TIA!!

Best item you can get near that price range would be Platinum Fire Wedding Rings, which would add +55 hp for each ring, but they run 200-250pp each.

If you want to catch up to him at 15, I would try to run your new cleric to EC tunnel and get some buffs from some friendly high level players.

Hey bro :D

Im in Crushbone right now killing green cons for the belts. I'll get ya a couple bags to turn in for exp. Hope that helps a bit.

Edit* In terms of a weapon....try getting a Enameled Black Mace or something similar.

I wouldnt worry to much about catching up to him. With the 40% xp penalty a pally gets and a cleric having none youll be close enough to him in no time where the 2 of you can easily group together.

Of course he will be AFK for about two days at Tunnel Entrance. Minor Detail.

LOL true, I am a hard man to meet up with. But many can attest to my generosity once I am met!

I think it cost me about 25p to have a blacksmith friend craft me up a full set of banded. I'm still pretty new myself but if you can't find any better rings I'd be happy to make you some +2 wisdom ones!

Edit: Actually I think I have 3 extra pieces of banded in my bank too if you want 'em.

I second the idea to get 5ac 55hp rings. Gear with + to wisdom are overrated for clerics until later in the game. A large manapool is only important for those "oh shit" moments. If you are soloing and don't have enough mana to kill one mob, you are either hunting in the wrong zone or the wrong mobs.

Get a full set of bronze and ask someone to help you get a +5 wisdom no drop Battleworn Morningstar in Kithicor forest. Then save your money for spells and 5ac 55hp rings. When you get higher in level, you will be able to get gear with mana, resists and wisdom on it by yourself.

If you can wear Jarsath Scale Armor, bind yourself infront of KC and try to get some of the pieces (they are no drop). But be carefull and don't train people hunting there. If you get agro just die and eat the exp loss :D

some low level/acquirable items could be, silver jasper rings like 5-10pp each, silver bloodstone earrings 5-10pp electrum jasper bracelets prolly like 10pp a piece or less. Screaming mace is decent, and do-able quest at low level, so you wouldnt even have to buy it. there is some decent low cost gear for clerics.

He has done a lot of good here on this server. You can trust him.

Yeah I would try and go with a full set of Banded armor. A lot of AC for cheap money, and they look good also.

Having a ton of mana is nice but you have to sit forever to get it back. So not sure it is a top priority as a Cleric until raid times high up. OOM is OOM if you have 100 mana or 10,000 mana lol. :(
