Floping PL Question/ Duo pet damage

If I'm power leveling my friend with my nerco and FD does it drop the damage my pet has done as well? Also when your duoing with two pet classes is the 50% damage cap per pet or is it if both pets combined do over 50% then you lose 50% xp?

pets cant eat exp if your grouped. but your FD shouldnt wipe your pets exp as i understand mechanics
