Who are the players who have been with P1999 the longest?

I've been with Project1999 since Early July of 2010 as the same Half Elf Warrior. I first heard of Project1999 by looking at classic EQ videos on Youtube. Many memories in this game with guilds and friends that don't even compare to my classic days of playing sony's servers. To be honest, in the classic days, i didn't know zones like Karnors, Sebilis, Charasis, Chardok... it would be during my time at Project1999 that i would get to discover these zones. so, in a sense, i am living classic EQ for the first time, and im sure there aren't many of you out there who can say the same.

So how long have you been with the server? i've been here a little over 2 years
but im not sure if im one of the oldest players. I know Jeremy is one of them.

October 3 2009. The latest pvp emu had died and I was browsing the server select and saw "project 1999 beta" with 100 people online. A few hours later the server was up and I was finally playing classic eq again.

I started in August of 2010 I think. I resisted the urge to start, knowing I'd get addicted. I was right.

I started March 2010. I too wish that I had heard of the server earlier as I missed out on some of the fun drops which were removed from the game. I played live from release and loved the days when Cazic Thule was a popular zone (Rubicite) or when there was a long line sitting at Drelzna's room in Najena (Jboots). The items were nice but I really enjoyed the experience around getting these items and hanging out with people in these zones.
I too have experienced a lot of content here on P1999 for the first time. Back in the day on live, my life was pretty busy and I never had the ability to commit large blocks of time needed to do some of the more challenging stuff.
I had long lamented over the loss of classic EQ and had high hopes when Sony launched the original progression servers. Of course the progression servers failed on many levels to capture the classic world experiences.
When I created my character on P1999 and entered the world to see a crowded Qeynos, I knew I was home.

December of 09, first toon was a DE SK named Collapse (Re-rolled later into Troll w/ a Guise). Brand new to the world of EQ so decided to make my Cleric Pryncess my main, in Jan of 10...then got burnt out of being a healer so as of March 2010, Lostprophets was born. :)

I wouldn't have ever found this server if it wasnt for the (Original) Sabbath...not the new owner that was recently in TMO for some months.
