eqgame.exe - Application Error

PLEASE HELP!!!!!
Hello all when i try to play Project 1999, this error pops up and states:
The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005). Click on OK to terminate the application. :confused:
I HAVE FOUND OUT THE FILE FOR THIS PROBLEM... :mad:
the dsetup.dll file that is in v25 causes it to crash before opening if there is any way to fix it where it doesnt cause it to crash? Someone Please Help I would really appriciate it :(

I have this same exact problem ... EQ classic was working just fine, but after I downloaded Eq live it gave me this error ... I tried re-installing several times, but it did not work ... I troubleshooted the problem to be somewhere in the EQ changes file ... the game would run without them (obviously without connecting to server):rolleyes: but once I added the EQ changes file it gave me the error >>>> "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005). ok i have tried to start it at 400x400 and the same error pops up is there any way to make a dsetup.dll a different way? cause the patch before was perfectly fine i can run it in any resolution but now its koput....

Isn't dsetup.dll from the Directx download? Try downloading directx from Microsoft (link (http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35&wt.mc_id=mscom_en_us_search_mssuggests_131z4enus22 051)) and re-installing.

so re-install eq then download directx or just directx?
