Hello everyone,

I have been playing when I can for the past couple of weeks. My computer died yesterday and I lost all data on it. The sucky part is I am deployed to Iraq and don't have my discs. I looked it up online and people are price gauging the game pretty badly. Would anyone here be willing to send me their copy of the game out here? I will pay you and I will also ship the discs back. Linking how to download something for free on the forums isnt a good idea. Use PMs or something. They can get shut down...

no it is not piracy if you own the CDs, especialy since you can not even play on live without a valid, bought CD key.

Why do you think they do not include download links in the EQ emu set up guide or the P1999 set up guide? You can probably guess why...

All I am saying is I have seen forums and other servers get shut down because they had too many links to warez on their site and forums. And yes your link is considered warez.

I would have downloaded it and not bothered anyone but the internet is SUPER slow here and super unreliable. They also block ports for Torrents / Peer to Peer downloads. Once again I knew it was a LONG shot but thought I would ask :)

That must of been added recently and to be honest I hope whoever added it made sure its completly legal to download the game for free to play on P1999. If it is then I stand corrected. I am almost positive Sony does not like people without accounts in good standing downloading their game, and I have seen other sites shut down.

Since its already been posted and its ok with the devs apperantly. I would ask a friend to download that torrent and burn it onto a CD or DVD and then mail that disk to you. Or anyone really. I would do it but I am one of the few without a burner lol.

But if you use encrypted p2p you can avoid bittorrent throttling, because it wont know that your using bt.

Another option is it use proxy servers, which can be a little slower...
....

when I was in iraq we had really bad internet and a torrent download would not be possible. if you pm me your APO i'll see if I can get you something out in the next couple days.

You could try to get and use an IronKey (https://www.ironkey.com/) or try connecting using a free Tor client. This might help you get around some of the blocking going on.

Lets say I installed Trilogy. If I was able to attain a EQgame.exe file from someone wiith Titanium would the game run?

Probably not. Thousands of files probably had various changes between those two releases, besides just eqgame.exe.
