Awesome! Can't wait for season 3.

lol, yep there's both of them! Just Joffrey or Sansa alone could've been a coincidence, but them together right next to each other is what convinced me it was a Song of Ice and Fire homage, no question.

Hipster EQ classic devs: Repping George R.R. Martin before it was cool.

Now that it's cool, they'll have to deny they did it on purpose. That would be cool.

Sansa daughter of ned stark.

Joffrey son of Cersei and Jamie lannister (they're brother and sister. ew. probably why he's such a prick)

Another connection - the sword "Lightbringer" plays an important part in book two as well. Haven't seen the TV series to know if it's there or not.

Good catch, I rarely even notice NPC names.

A blond dwarf (http://wiki.project1999.org/Pandos_Flintside) is Lady Shae's (http://wiki.project1999.org/Lady_Shae) bodyguard.

I can't believe I never caught the Lady Shae reference. I mean, I didn't know of GoT until the series, but my god did I know about Pandos and his lady. I stuffed so many muffins into that guy it was obscene.

He's not the only Joffrey either. Suddenly, the Jauffre from Oblivion appears (pronounced the same way in the audio)... another link or just coincidence? ;)

Nice find. Another reminder of why EQ was so special when it started - the developers were wholly dedicated to bringing a fantasy world to life.

I killed Lady Shae many times with my Necromancer, LOL.

The one on the left is a striking resemblance to Regis of today.
