I'm surprised that the server unexpected went down (with 30 minutes notice from Rogean), and there wasn't an immediate "WTF? Why is the server down" Thread started, where most of the responses were filled with typical withdrawal symptoms. I take it as a tribute to the P99 team, that the outages are so few and far between that the community isn't upset when they have to miss out on 20-30 minutes of game play.
Kudos to both the P99 team, and the community. A pleasant surprise.

Last patch was almost two weeks ago. Pretty sure people know one would be coming up soon, it was just a matter of when.

Yeah, these guys do a fantastic job running this server. They have put up with a whole lot of BS over the last year, I got to give them props for their endurance and determination.

I've said it before, I'll say it again: all hail the P99 dev team!
And on a holiday weekend, no less!

You may wana hold off on the praises here.....
Sure overall they've been having a good uptime but why does he have to do the patches during prime time and on a US holiday weekend?

Probably because they have real lives and real jobs, and their weekends off are when they selflessly devote their free time to patching the free server they provide.

This, just be glad we don't have to pay $10-12 a month for this amazing game. I donate $15 a month just because it feels right to give back and help keep the server running. The devs donate enough of their free time to this game, the community should at least help to keep the server up and running through donations :)

Damn..... i wont be able to sleep tonite..... /cry /slash wrist
EDIT: Just for the record, i've praised them before, but unlike most folks here i wont suck up to them. If i see something that dont make sense i'll speak my mind in usually polite form and without insult. Now when some moron go an insult me for speaking my mind..... well ... You get the idea.
Now i'll go slash my wrists.

I'm not sucking up, I just understand that the people running this shit aren't getting paid to, it isn't their job, and they can patch whenever the fuck they want to. The fact that they actually do patches regularly far outweighs any 20-30 minute downtime. If you disagree then please, do go cut yourself.
And in case you reply, I'll know you are bad at cutting yourself so here:
