I was always curious if the true adventurer at heart could travel the whole of Norrath as they leveled without taking far too long to progress. This could be the answer!

Here are the rules. Suggest a single zone and spot in said zone to level a single level after 10. This zone can only be used once, so if you see it on the list think of something different! The goal is to make a list of the ultimate journey where you and a friend can go and adventure while gaining a level in a different zone for each level from 10-60. We can do this, there's over 80 zones in Classic/Kunark!

No speculation, you actually have to have gained a level at a reasonable pace in the area you suggested with a un-twinked duo/group. For instance, a bad example would be suggesting City of Mist from level 24-25. Make it feasible so that a new player could take a friend to your spot and gain a level there. Can we create the ultimate leveling adventure? Will update with posts, I will start:

10-11 Crushbone(entrance mobs)
11-12 Blackburrow(bottom of ramp)
12-13 Western Karana(bandits east of Misty Storyswapper)
13-14 Befallen(entrance)
14-15 Unrest(entrance)
15-16 Kurn's Tower(main floor)
16-17 Erud's Crossing(wisps)
17-18 Najena(elementals)
18-19 Lesser Faydark(sisters camp)
19-20 Oasis of Marr(orc highway)
20-21 Upper Guk(squire camp)
21-22 Mistmoore(zone entrance)
22-23 Lake of Ill Omen(beach north of FV)
23-24 Overthere(trash near warsilk)
26-27 Gorge of King Xorbb(evil eyes)
27-28 Everfrost(random mammoths)
28-29 Warsilk Woods(giant fort)
29-30 Rathe Mountains(giant skeletons near lake rathe)
30-31 Highhold Keep(goblins or guards)
31-32 South Karana(splitpaw spires)
32-33 Solesk's Eye(first goblin room)
.
.
35-36 Lower Guk(dead entrance)
36-37 Frontier Mountains(giant fort)
.
38-39 Ocean of Tears(spectres)
39-40 The Hole(elementals)
40-41 Oggok(bouncers)
41-42 City of Mist(courtyards)
.
.
51-52 Nagafen's Lair(bats)

^^Add your suggestion here, it doesn't have to be for maximum efficiency or ease of travel but for the sake of the journey! You don't have to list your spot in above order.

For the newer players wanting to test the Adventurer's Guide to Leveling, find the suggested spots easier with this link: http://wiki.project1999.org/Zones

While taking advantage of some of the highest ZEMs! These are considering that you are modesty twinked these days.

8-17: Befallen 1st & 2nd floors for safety (not 3rd floor (yet))
17-26+: Upper Guk (Spiders, then Squire to Warden and friends)
26-40+: Highkeep/SolA

Kurn's Tower 10-18, I really dont know why more people dont go here, it has a rediculous ZEM, and honestly it could be up to par with Paludal.l

Because it is hard as hell to get there, and if you are not a Iksar where you going to sell? Who has plat for a port there at that level?

I believe he is thinking more so individual camp spots like the ones that a little bit more hidden in zones. Sort of how bandits are a bit out of the way in gfay.

Sorry if I wasn't quite clear enough but the goal is to list both the zone and the spot in the zone in which to gain a single level then move to a new zone. We are making 10-60 a huge adventure where you are never in the same zone twice to grind more then 1 level. Bubbles has it correct except for listing where in each zone.

Kunark is fine, remember just 1 level for each zone. Let the adventure begin!

But you would enjoy some obscurity, correct? Little places of Eden tucked away? I regrettably don't know very many because I only adventured when I was younger and playing live. But I think this idea is really cool.

Well, the reason places like Kerra Isle and Beholders Maze are so unpopulated is they are miles out of the way from civilization and there's so many more obvious and centrally located options available.. I could have tossed em somewhere on my list, but.. well.. all the roaming green trash make Beholder a royal pain to kill for xp efficiently at high levels, and all the roaming higher cons make it just as terrible at lower levels.

zomgz i totally forgot runnyeye..

updated my list to follow the spirit of the OP, altho i really gotta say most of the 'camps' are pretty obvious and well known within the zones ;)

Added OOT thanks. Going to avoid faction hits for goodly races at this time, even if it is WFP :) Troll/Ogre/Iksar/DE faction hits are ok.

23-24 overthere- mostly dark blues when pullin from warsliks zone line
27-28 everfrost mammoths- best cash/xp combo for this level range

If you can get the groups, Dalnir, Droga, Nurga etc are just insanely fun. I'm not sure the XP is substantially better but the dungeons themselves are a blast.

If i may add, Kurns tower main floor isnt really for level 16's, the basement and around there however works better for players around 16.

Some alternatives. These will reap better cash than the ones listed. Having just comeback money is important to my toons.

11-12 Blackburrow Bottom of ramp (level 3 per Wiki) ZEM + gnoll fangs = quick xp.
12-13 Western Karana Bandits east of Misty Storyswapper (#3 on wiki map) non-evil toons can turn in bandit sashes for additional xp and a bronze weapon

Suggestion: Make a level range and the zones to play in that level range

I have an alternate progression which doesn't require much travel between the zones, particularly in the earlier levels when travel is more dangerous and difficult. Once you get to 35+, travel is easier and so the gaps become larger. Many of these are probably not ideal, but I'm pretty sure they're all doable with a solid soloer or a decent duo/trio. Certainly some will be slow.

If you roll Neutral/Evil Erudite don't immediately run to QHills! Stay and hunt Kobolds for their 'Useless Cloth Cap'. Turn them in at the skeletons guarding Paineel and rake in the cash. Aside from decent exp return you get a gem for each turn in, quick easy plat (have been getting all sorts of gems, some worth 12pp+). You can use this method to get up to 6-7 quickly and have plenty of plat for spells.

I've been doing this solo but I know that with a duo it'd be even better:
11-12 Steamfont Mountains (Near windmills and minotaur caves)

Only downside is the earth elementals being immune to non-magic weapons but I'm a necro so meh. This is great to go from Crushbone to Steamfont and still get decent exp. Not heavily camped either; not seen a single soul. :3
