Faction in The Hole

Hello,

On live I used a level 1 Brell Serelis following Halfling rogue to scout out The Hole non-KoS, only the ratmen would attack me. I'm unsure if the stealth was necessary (I know many things at least see invis) or not.

I have a possibly lengthy CR in The Hole, and before I spend the hours and plat trying to get a halfling rogue there, can someone confirm that this faction is classic on p99? Given the investment, getting there to find out it doesn't work like that on p99 and I'm KoS anyway, would be unpleasant.

Yes this works here. Ratmen and undead are kos, but if you take the time to make sure hide and sneak both stick nothing in the zone will attack you.

Would a dwarf or gnome work too, or does it have to be halfling?

You can do this with an earth elemental illusion as well. Ratmen and the undead will always be KOS, but rocks and imps shouldn't start off kos to brell serelis.
