Possible to change in game music?

Hello, I'm a refugee from Everquest Online Adventures on the PS2. Recently I found that someone was able to rip the full soundtrack and upload it in mp3 format. Would it be possible to switch some of the P1999 sound files with EQOA files? The world is pretty well the same, would likely be just for cities and such. To clarify, I just mean for my client haha, not server-wide.

Go into your everquest folder and find the zones you want to replace, for example lavastorm.mp3, then delete it and put the EQOA song into the folder and rename it lavastorm.mp3
Never tried it but don't see why it shouldn't work..don't run the eqemu launcher just to be safe, go straight in through the eqgame shortcut after.
