Level 1:
Kill bats and giant wasps in Greater Faydark. The giant wasps are social; be careful, young soul.

Editor's Note: I forgot to mention this leveling guide is taking place on Red99, and due to the increased experience rate, leveling times will be shorter than on Blue99. (You shouldn't be playing there anyways, fool!)

Level 2: Continue on with your bat-and-wasp slaying. LOOT EVERYTHING and sell for spell money.

Level 3:
For level 3, make your way to the Steamfont Mountains. It's the Gnome newbie starting zone, and those little shits aren't allowed to hog all the goodness that is their newbie area. Kill the clockworks and there's a couple of small coyote spawns. These can range from levels 2-3 and are more challenging than wasps and bats. However, they are more rewarding. Slay away. Get ahold of a shovel if you can (just to look like a bad ass).

Level 4 & 5:
At level four, you'll want to start mixing it up. Continue with the small coyotes but also work in the random kobold. Once you hit 5, definitely begin full-blasting kobolds. Your leveling time will vary; at this point in time a friendly druid ran by and gave me thorns/regen and I put them to use.

Once you ding level 6, run into Ak`Anon. Sell, and head to the Cleric guild. Buy your Gate spell. Gate, and buy as many spells as you can afford.

Level 6: It's time to defend the forest from the evil Orcs. Head to Orc Hill and begin your slaying. SAVE THE ORC BELTS! Be sure and purchase Harmony. It'll be your new best friend.

Stay around Orc Hill and continue your slaying for all of level seven. Continue saving orc belts.

I was blessed by another friendly druid running by, who gave me thorns and chloro and yet again I took advantage. Keep grinding, mi amigo.

Level 8 and 9: Head back to Butcherblock Mountains. Go to the Druid ring. Here there are 3 solo pull skeletons. Proceed to hella farm them. When you ding level 9, some will begin to turn teal. That's O.K. - it's still decent experience and you are saving up bone chips. Save all your bone chips to sell to a friendly (and wealthy) necro in your future!

Bonus! There's an indifferent vendor at the Druid rings. Be sure to loot and sell the cloth and rusty weapons these skeletons drop for spell money!

This guide is in progress. This post is my latest progression. I'll update within the next few days with levels 10+.

Level 10: Head back to Steamfont. Run to the windmills. I have highlighted the next hunting area in red. Hunt just next to the windmills and north of it. You can safely meditate on the wall north. Your targets will be skeletons and brittle skeletons. Pumas are dark blue con as well, but you're a druid. A protector of nature. Therefore, be nice to the pumas. No killing them, alright?

The skeletons and brittle skeletons will take you to 11 in no time!

Level 11 and Level 12:
Move over to the mino caves area in Steamfont Mountains. Good prey here is the skeleton spawns near the massive cog wheel; lesser and young ebon drakes, rogue clockworks and earth elementals (use your Ward Summoned spell for max effectiveness!) Beware of the spiders! They have an annoying poison which, in my opinion, just ain't worth the trouble.

At level 12 you'll notice some of the drakes beginning to turn light blue. Still good experience.

Level 14, 15 & 16:
Head to Lesser Faydark. Find the half-elf sisters camp near the entrance to Mistmoore. This spot is not only reliable experience until level 17, but it's how we're going to fund our level 19 spells! Using Harmony on the two sisters in the camp, get to some good old Dervish killin'!

At level 15, some spawns will con light blue. Stay here until you ding level 17. The experience is predictable and we're making spell $!

7 hours for L11? On Red? :(

Get thee to Upper Guk!

Point of note: sisters give good money, but charming animals in Eastern Karana gives fastest EXP. For fastest leveling overall, charm from 14 to 60. Of course in a server like Red with a big EXP bonus you might end up shit outta PP when it comes time to buy spells.

I appreciate any and all input. I should mention this guide is just for leveling ideas. The /played screens are just for reference. I take AFK breaks, at 19 I'll head to camp the Testament of Vanear, etc. Not necessarily the fastest route to 60. Just, my route.

Alright fellas, I fell on a bit of misfortune. During my epic quest on SOLO EXPERIENCE GUIDE, I was rudely interrupted by my fellow guildies. Pestering me to bless their awesome group with my presence.

The guild leader may or may not have been powerleveling us*

I said no. I fought, and fought, and fought. They tied me down. Their little ass cleric, he blinding light'ed me. It was real nasty. They made me do it, guys. Made me.

http://www.got-heem.com/druid/Level1718.jpg

(As you can see in image 2 they were real nasty. They basically tied me down. Or made me sit down. Same thing)

So the guide veers a bit for 17 and 18, but not much. I happened to get lucky and gain some group experience, but NOT BEFORE SOLOING a bit myself. And that's what you'll do. Hang out in the first floor of the castle in Unrest. I like to root rot ghouls. Perhaps the occasional dark boned skeleton.

Okay. Back on track. What's that? Was that a D I N G I heard?!

http://www.got-heem.com/druid/RonBurgundyLevel19.gif

That's right my minions! You've hit level 19! You're the big time now. You get a slew of cool new spells, including my favorite nuke (19) Careless Lightning. Gate back to the Faydark and buy all your spells. Then bum a ride to West Commons (or take the boat. Boo) And see Ms. Slea Pinewhisper. She's a lovely gal.

http://www.got-heem.com/druid/19PortSpells.jpg

Be sure to buy your first 4 port spells! Ring of Butcher, Ring of Commons, Ring of Karana, and Ring of Toxxulia! Next, run to Kithicor, then to Highpass. Pay Dyllin Starsine (http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/npc.html?id=1684) a little visit real fast (he's just about always up on Red99) and port to West Karana. Run to Qeynos real quick, do this quest (http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?quest=144)(you can skip to the part where you start giving Moodoro gold pieces) and get yourself a nice new:

Booyah. Now you're kind of sexy-lookin' with that book in your hand. Not too shabby on the stats either, huh? Load up Ring of Karana and get your body ready. We're about to begin our adventures in Charm Kiting.

Unfortunately I leveled the druid to 54 and about half of those levels were grouped or bard kiting, and the integrity of the guide was ruined. That's why I haven't updated it :(
