Ok so first off I'm wondering if on live during Kunark you would have the two second or whatever delay before zoning to your bind after dying.
And now for my real question here: yesterday I was soloing Efreeti camp in SolB and failed to account for how much faster merbs flee since I'd been there last. Djarn started sprinting at 19% and got me a dozen adds in a matter of a few seconds and I died. I managed to land a Bane shortly before I died and a tick of it managed to kill him after I died but before I zoned to my bind. It was interesting because I saw a new message for the deadly poison being applied after I died upon that tick. The corpse insta-poofed because I guess it registered as a NPC kill or something. I'm wondering if this is how such a mechanic should work in classic.
I don't really care about the GEBS or whatever - I already got some others for my baby Beavis - but I just thought I'd open this up to discussion to see if the insta-poof in such a situation is possibly a bug. Your opinions, please!
