EQemu: Could not reach webserver...

I'm getting this message and it attempts to connect again every 10 seconds. Last time I attempted to log on was on sunday. I haven't had any problems in the past. But sunday evening I DID change my computer to use a static IP instead of a dynamic IP. Could this have caused some kind of problem with EQemu connecting to the server?

i dont think its your computer, i think the server is having issues as i was just playing, logged off and now get that error

I have this happen on my second computer with EQ on it. Interestingly, after the first error (and attempting 10 seconds) it pops up with the full server list.

Question : Have you used the emulator before and patched the files successful and then got into the game? If so then stop using the emulator.
Make a shortcut of your eqgame.exe and then right click the shortcut, goto properties and you get this on the 'shortcut' tab http://i49.tinypic.com/34igvnr.jpg
Look in the target box and add patchme at the end (obviously your install folder is different than this one).

Now run that to enter EQ directly from now on.
Only use the EMU launcher when you have to repair or update spell files.
