I am not sure if anyone has found this before, and a quick forum search did not reveal anything.

As someone who is a great follower of lore and history, I found the information in this link fascinating. It appears to be a compilation of lore from the beta days of Everquest and includes much information that was never implemented, or at the least, implemented differently much live.

It's a long read, but all true Everquest believers must read. It certainly brought me back to the days of being a young ranger when Norrath was so small and mysteries and myths were so real...

*Do you know why the Trolls are so secretive about their heritage? Do you know that Trolls come from Kunark and their Champion Trakanon saved them extinction by moving them to Antonica?

*Do you know who Dagnor the Warlord is? Why the Ogres left Faydwer to settle in Antonica? That Oggok means "Revenge"?

*Do you know that Ak'anon is elven for gift? Why did the elves grant the tinkering former slave-race of the Gnomes land within the elven empire? How about those big dragon bones in the Steamfront Mountains?

*What about the bardic songs of the great elven warrior Eldril and his meeting with Trakanon in the "jagged cliffs" of Trakanon's Teeth, where he was told the prophecy of Norrath?

I know a lot of this sounds nerdy and super Tolkien-like, but to those who enjoy the lore of the game, it really makes you appreciate the original Verant game design as well as the actual zone layout and features within each zone.

Think some of this overlaps with the information popular from http://lorenorrath.free.fr/
Start at left side and go down the list.

There are probably however some difference in the wording - which is not uncommon as it changed several times over the past ten years.
