Hello Everybody!
I am new to project 1999 and I would like some tips/advice from players. I have played Everquest before and reached level 50+, not sure what level since it has been a pretty long time(10+ years). I played Cleric before and I was working on my epic weapon but i have long since forgotten about the class/how to play the class to actually level by myself. I will be playing cleric again since I can recall some of the fun I had playing it before. If anyone is able to give me some advise it would be greatly appreciated!

Firstly, welcome to P99! I hope its the classic EQ experience you're looking for :)

If you're looking for some kind of solo guide, look no further (http://www.project1999.org/forums/showthread.php?t=84305). At some point I'll get around to doing some rewriting and making it read a bit easier, but I hope that'll get you started.

The best way to level solo in a nutshell is to take full advantage of those undead nukes, you're an undead wizard as well as a healer ;)

You'll find plenty of bad info, of course, as it IS a wiki. But there is also a ton of good info on there, especially regarding classes, races, spells, newbie guides, and the sortable equipment database thingy.

Hi Loshi,

I just started playing P99 a couple of weeks ago and it is truly amazing. People are very generous and helpful. My advice is make your way to EC asap to farm Bone Chips and pelts to sell if possible. This will allow you to buy some good newb gear to get yourself started before you have to leave the area around lvl 20. If you need any help in game or have any question /t me on Yaolin my monk. Have a good one and enjoy the p99 experience!

No joke! I started on the Blue server and not only did I get invited to a guild (I'm a lowbie, of course) without some sort of long trial process (good folks in this guild too) but the guy I met gave me some cash to buy spells and such with. I mean, quite a bit for my level. I almost fell out of my chair... try finding people like this in WoW or any other 'major' active MMO

I'll be here until the servers close or EQ Next releases for sure

The best advice I can give any Melee is get a Decent weapon first. YOU can't kill crap without one. You will get pissed and quit.

Ok and now explain a new player how to get one without having any friends or cash
