Has anyone else noticed it raining and thundering on the server more than usual?

I have recently started playing on pj99 again, I dont know if anyone else has noticed but it seems to be raining about 75% of the time, and im online alot!

I'm sure its for more than it used to rain on live and even on pj99 when i played a year or so ago.

Anyone else think its raining to much, I mean come on we have to put up with enough bad weather in RL, give us some sunshine in Norrath! Whos with me!!

No, I've been playing for a few years now on p99 and it's almost always raining in the Karanas.

There is a thread on the Forums how to turn the Thunder off. I disabled it a year ago. I am sure someone has the Link.

My memory may be bad, but I don't remember it ever raining in Gfay on live, and it has been raining there lately (frequently).

It rains pretty much all the time in the Karanas when I am there. Isn't Karana the god of rain?

it certainly did rain in gfay


and back on live, it rained more frequently in the karanas then other zones, with the weather intensity changing randomly over time, it was accompanied by a messages that said something like "The storm begins to get heavier" or "The storm begins to settle" (something like that) and the rain would get faster/heavier

HAHA, Thanks for the great responses guys :) This server really feels like home to me now :) ...

Ive found a solution to my problem! Made a Druid... leveling to 54 (furiously lol) then I dont care how hard it is to get, im gonna get my self a copy of the spell that stops the rain in the zone im in.... Heaven!!.... Dont worry I wont turn karana into a desert :p .... yet... lol .. In-game name is Tobeunce im only level 13 at the moment, if anyone wants to give me a shout!

I think this server can have what I call a "sticky" random number generator. At least that's what I say when I notice odd streaks of chance...

Like times of greater rain and thunder...

Or a ridiculous string of misses in melee...

Or a ridiculous string of successes in tradeskilling... My smithing is 179 and I made a full visible suit of the enchanted dwarven plate without a failure.

It could just be true chance, but it sure feels like the random number generator is sticky and will put out a series of like values at times... hell I dunno.
