I once was a young aspiring blacksmith in akkanon.
Young gnomes would visit me for suits of banded and plate and quality weapons. My prices were reasonable and i was never too busy to sharpen a sword for a friendly gnome.
Word of my services spread across faydwer to Felwithe and kaladim. And even tho dwarves were racially good at smithing my reputation became impeccable.
Business was booming. I was envied in my home town by many and there were often long lines outside my smithing shop.
Until...
Until the accident.
The coals were too hot and the furnaces began to overheat. Fires broke out almost instantaneously. Gnomes were burned , many lost their homes.
In an event to save what i could my hands were severely burned.
Twisted from years of blacksmithing and heavily burned i was forced to make myself a pair of permanent metal gloves.
Despite my best intentions i was outcasted by king akkanon. I tried to make it work but i wasnt allowed in felwithe once they had heard what happened. I was given a job in kaladim but was ridiculed too much by the dwarves.
I was eventually outcasted there as well.
Now i live in the hills of steamfont in the woods. With these hands...
