so, heres a game i never heard of, i bought for like 20$ at kmart, lost it for a year or two, found it, played it,
this is a choose your own adventure book, in a secret agent/spy game. with many many different outcomes, stories, possibilities, my mind was blown.
this game got pretty much no advertising help, but was A+, and the replay value is amazing as its near impossible to play the same exact game twice with all the different options and choices made available to you.
anyone play this game? chime in.
if not, i wont be sad, as i said i never saw this game advertised, and could not explain why i own it. but i'm glad i do!

If you liked this, try Snatcher and Space Adventure Cobra for Sega CD emulator.

i thought alpha protocol was the 3rd person cover shooter where you fight terminators?
no?
sounds kinda neat, do you do anything other than picking dialogue, or is it like the walking dead by telltale?

picking dialogue is only one thing. deciding which bosses to kill or arrest or bribe/extort is another. the order you decide to do the missions is another. deciding if you want to kill or knock out people from other groups (ie: CIA, G22, Russian Mob, Chinese Secret Police, Civilians, etc) also has an effect.
these different things decide who likes/hate you. who will work with/against you. what stuff people make available for sale to you. they also decide which cut scenes you will see, how much of the true story line you will actually learn, and of course, it will decide which person (if any) you ride off into the sunset with.
was a pretty fun game for something i never heard of or saw advertised.
Big Sirk, you know you're not allowed to play any other game other than P99.
All lies and voodoo

actually sounds pretty cool, wasnt the game i was thinking of at all.
Will have to check it out.
Have you tried the walking dead games? if you are a fan of the tv series/comics you'll love them, and even if you arent, you'll probably still love them.
Also, anyone tried FTL or journey this year?

I just picked this up from gamestop for $5.00
This game is very cool, a ton of fun, I love it !
I like how there isn't "one" way to complete a task/ mission. You can go in guns blazing, go in stealthy, a mix of both, alot of variety to it.
You also get to choose in what order you do the missions in a country which has an effect on the outcome as well.
I was having trouble defeating Marburg in the Museum and what I found online was said to use the "fury" skill and go hand to hand with him. Well, I kept failing at that and shooting didn't do much good.
I carry alot of incendiary grenades, so I just kept throwing those at him and while he was on fire it really decreased his health quite a bit.
Too bad there isn't an online for this game.
I briefly tried the hard level.. it's fun but challenging. There isn't much room for mistakes at all.
ok, talk to you soon,
gotta take a shower
here's part of a mission i recently uploaded while testing out my game recorder

read Marburgs's Dossier if u have all the info for it. hes awesome at hand to hand.
use pistol chain shot on him.
let me know if u decided to go east or west. i always choose the hotel because i've already nailed madison by that point, and figure ill try to save her after i save the bomb.
btw, theres 4 girls your guy can sleep with (Mina, Scarlet, Madison, SIE) play your cards right and u get all four ;)

so now i have seen various way to defeat marburg.
which i am glad to see there is more than one way to defeat him.
i carry alot of incendiary grenades with me. i just kept throwing those at him and they (the fire) depleted his health.
i'm thinking of making a site / forum for this game. it seems like it could use one even though it is old. i think there are probably many players still playing it.
you have any ideas ?
