Well of course its possible. Fear, snare, root, stun. It's in no way viable exp wise or time wise though.

Find an outdoor zone. Have ranger harmony > snare. SK fears, Paladin stuns, roots and patch heals as needed.

For a real meat grinding trio: HLF: Cleric, Rogue, War.

So we all have some money to twink -- and twinking a cleric is just not that fun IMO.

We're trying to make a melee based team work...but I'm open to any suggestions of any team not involving a cleric.

Monk, Bard, Rogue could be a fun, unconventional melee trio. Stuff would die fast enough that bard regen + Mend would be sufficient healing with the Monk and bard alternating tanking. Also forms a strong group core for dungeons, just add a healer.

since all 3 of these classes can solo to some degree i would imagine they could find something to xp on. it might actually be kinda fun

Who cares if it's not the fastest/most optimal. If it's harder to do, you'll probably appreciate the challenge of it and have more fun in the process.
