Every time I log onto EQ and enter world, within 10 seconds my client freezes and crashes. Sometimes it only happens once then it lets me back on. Other times, like today, Ive been trying for over an hour and still, I am unable to play without my client crashing. Ive tried using both EQemu and directly connecting to the server. I have tried messing with my screen resolutions both in game and on my computer. Has anyone else had this problem before?

More detail, does an error message come up or just straight to desktop with no pop up?

the game pops up, but it freezes and I just press the X to exit or ctr+alt+delete. I get no error messages

After you enter the world it crashes?
It sounds like you may have the wrong client.
Are you using EQ Titanium?
Are you crashing when you attempt to log a character in? Do you get as far as seeing your list of characters? If yes, is it all characters, or just one? If yes, are you able to create a new character and log in the game?

Same thing happening to me. Haven't found a solution yet. I get in the game, run around for a while then it just freezes. no error messages. just stops responding.
Did you read through this Alaiwy? http://www.project1999.org/forums/showthread.php?t=94928
Try turning graphics way down and see if that makes a difference.

Are either of you guys using overclocked cpus?
also, could you try setting EQ to run using only one core and let me know what happens?
if you're using EQEm launcher, you should find an option in the options menu to load eq with only one core running

I think i figured it out finally. Something in my UI must have been corrupted. I did /load and loaded the default then /load and loaded the DUXA that i had been using and the problem went away.

Glad it's working!
