The problem is, dingleberry, that 'stealing' and 'claiming' FTE is one of the major grey areas with how FTE works ATM.

Noone knows if they have it until after the fact in alot of cases. It can always be said that it was 'stolen' once it is known who actually had it, however before the fact everyone is racing to grab it somehow.

Every #1 guild gets burnt out. What happens is the core of what made that guild #1 gets there loot - shows it off for a good amount of time and then slowly leave. You can see this in TMO. The core was some TMO some Ascension members. Slowly most ascension members aside from a handfull are no longer around.

A new guild comes up in the ranks and guilds like TMO make themselves sound annoying to apply to - rather than just accepting new players making them feel welcome.

When I left Ascension and joined IB this is how I felt. They make it sound crazy annoying to join them. Making comments about how they will just kick out someone who sucks etc. After I got in and got to know them they were awesome to raid with.

What TMO needs to do is welcome new players and old in - as long as they dont cause drama - dont argue needlessly and are a solid player - let them in.

Unfortunately with so many late spawns recently, its really a matter of latency, server code, and sheer luck as to who is getting FTE for a large percentage of these mobs.
