I doubt it...

But the rest of you are right, especially you Yibz.

You might wonder why I posted in RFN - but it is my intent to reach a particular audience.

I'm here to educate on taxes, and consequences of not paying them.

With tax season quickly approaching, I want to make sure everyone has been educated. After all, ignorance is not an excuse.

I'll begin by testing your knowledge.

What is the IRS conviction rate for tax evasion cases they choose to prosecute?

25%

50%

75%

90%

Notice, these don't have fur lining:

Ninety percent -- the IRS doesn't prosecute EVERY case of tax evasion, but when they do, they prosecute to win.

Leona Helmsley famously said which of the following?

There is no such thing as a good tax.

We don't pay taxes. Only the little people pay taxes.

The only difference between a tax man and a taxidermist is that the taxidermist leaves the skin.

Paying taxes is too difficult for a mathematician. It takes a philosopher.

Leona Helmsley proclaimed that only the little people pay taxes. In order, the other quotes are from Winston Churchill, Mark Twain and Albert Einstein.

Income tax is illegal. The first time you fill out your taxes, you're giving the federal/state government consent to tax your ass for the rest of your life..
