but here it goes you dum dum piece of poopy: 1 v 1 seldom happens 1 person goes down in a 4v6 and everyone swarms they pick sides, choose allies, steal mobs, get pixels thus is life in norrath and YT will make it better |

Secondly, in the scenario you mention, 10 people are involved before any YT. If 10 people are in a zone, it isn't South Qeynos. People who aren't "border-line unreadable level of retard" like myself should be able to figure out which zones are populated and potentially already be in them when the "action" begins. Thirdly, I guess I'm extremely lucky, since 1 v 1 seldom happens, that almost all of the pvp I've experienced on r99 has been just that 1 v 1. It also mostly happens when one party has a perceived edge, i.e. one of us is low life from a Pve encounter, and the other hopes for an easy kill. Based on this, my "dum dum piece of poopy" logic presumes that people are attracted by easy prey, and giving YT with location would give these fine upstanding gentlemen another tool to do just that. Because of their honor, I'm sure I'm wrong and no one would ever use YT with loc to gank or grief people, but it would solely be to have epic fights where people "pick sides, choose allies, steal mobs, get pixels". I stand corrected. |

But I prefer to be as close to classic as possible. I know its not completely classic the way it is, but its pretty close. Actually id be happier without YT... or globalooc for that matter. But its not making or breaking my game. |

here is the situation, especially true since this server doesn't show you who is in another zone on /who all
group A is camping the druid rings in lavastorm group B ports in to go to sol B, gets ambushed by group A yellow text starts showing up that there's a big fight in lavastorm group C has been looking for pvp(harder to find it without /who showing where people are), and then knows it's going on in lavastorm group C ports in, more pvp happens i have never in my entire life heard anyone complain about YT revealing location in any of the iterations of PvP boxes that had it implemented |

On a more serious note, most of those pvp boxes are gone now... for a number of reasons. Quote:

yes those pvp boxes are gone for a number of reasons unrelated to YT or its disclosure of location
