I remember this from episode 1 of the trial haha, because it was determined that anything he said could implicate him, in the event that Derek got off, in the murder of Floyd.

As we all know drugs prevent the natural human ability to survive without oxygen.

They certainly contribute to it

George Floyd's former girlfriend admitted that he was abusing drugs.
She even included that he had overdosed in the past (March 2020) and was hospitalized. (he died may 2020, ~2 months later)
