Nah man, there are still camps in this game. You can't just tag shit with autoattack when someone's trying to pull their camp. But normally things get handled with a conversation. If the BG members in this situation could have held off on petitioning for FIVE GOD DAMN MINUTES, we might have also had a conversation. That was never their plan, though.

I don't agree with staff's decision on this, but I partly blame myself for being a bad lawyer in the heat of the moment. I honestly could not believe what was happening, and I'm never my best self at 5am. I'm just not sure he had a clear picture of BG showing up after the mob was well in hand, and then throwing a desperate attempt on tying up Grizlin with melee. I wonder if he thinks we raced for FTE and you guys grabbed the gnoll while we were busy. I dunno ... just trying to give him the benefit of the doubt I guess. Hard to believe he's ok with this shit.

You guys are greedy assholes - everyone that was there and everyone defending them. The FTE metagame is quite enough bullshit to have to deal with in any sane person's view.

Thanks for the support (you know who you are), and the porn tips.

I think I'm done with this now. I'm tired. I wanted the full RNF experience and I think I did OK.

See you all around.

Doesn't matter if you agree or disagree with the staffs decision, doesn't matter if you raced for Lodi FTE or not. All that matters is that you, admittedly, broke the rules by charming a mob that was engaged, therefor belonged to someone else.

Also, the BG guy has said several times that they told Sirken exactly why they attacked the gnoll, to deny you the ability to use it. Unless that's a lie, Sirken had all the information he needed, you were butthurt, broke the rules, and got caught, enflaming your butthurt.

And you claim that BG showed up "after the mob was well in hand". I understand that the definition of this statement is in the eye of the beholder, but it seems they showed up before you had began dps'ing, as you were waiting for a mob to spawn in order to charm it for dps. I, and I believe many others, would NOT consider this to be well in hand.

I thought I'd provide emphasis to make it easier to pick out the portions relevant to my reply, specifically to save you time. Aren't I a nice guy?

Yeah it's a dick move. It's also pragmatic, legal, and something I'd do. I'm also ex-TMO, a guild that locked down server content with that mindset. I prefer your mentality, but that's not the type of place P99 ended up being.

There's also a third option in between being a cutthroat raider and a snowflake wishing everyone would play nice. I call it the (pre-breakdown) Greengrocer school: Just do random shit you find amusing outside of the raid scene.

So Inbox has disputed a few raid mobs with you and you somehow equate that to not only him hating you but our entire guild? Don't you think that's a rather drastic leap of logic?
