What if we selected the parents based upon esoteric ideas - in order to have the most healthiest, smarterest, prettyest people. same way the state accomplishes anything: threat of violence. and i don't think it is right to say 'evil std people.' this isn't about good or evil it's about pragmatism and compassion. If we are going to deny people any sort of meaningful accountability by unshackling them from the god delusion it is incumbent upon us to at least try provide for some other comparable deterrent to destructive behavior. it is difficult to conjure something so terrifying as hell and so a more hands on approach is necessary.
