Surprised no one has pointed this out yet. How would one alt log on and buff both of you? Wouldn't that go against the boxing rule?

Three accounts. Two people.
Rocket science?

what a happy thread , any second a pack of halflings are going to run out and start blowing eachother over the destruction of the 1 ring.

I live on the world where a shaman can use inner fire healing to give a tank almost mana free regrowth level regen as opposed to healing 400 of his 1500 hp and being OOM. Let's see...keep the tank rolling almost non-stop with no cleric buff, or have the tank roll for 10 minutes and need a med break with a cleric buff?

If you are even questioning inner fire vs. normal heals you must not have played a low level shaman.

but the tank doesn't need full health. Say you have a warrior with 400 HP. Some kind cleric gives him hero and Marzin. Now he has 1500 HP.

when he had 400 HP, your warrior zerked at 160 HP. With 1500, he zerks at 600hp, or more than he would normally have. So, you can keep him between 20 and 40% where he does more DPS than normal and is still safer than when he had 400 HP.

It's about sustained healing. A shaman using inner fire has vastly higher sustained healing over using light healing. A shaman in the mid teens can not remotely keep up with incoming damage using light healing without going OOM very fast. Using inner fire they can.

This is shaman 101, guyz.

Who the hell said anything in all the threads about using Minor Healing over Inner Fire!! Why do you guys make shit up?

Tenlaar 03-20-2013 02:44 PM

Newsflash: you can't use inner fire healing if the tank has other HP buffs. People are arguing against the simple statement that, for a mid-teens shaman, inner fire healing and no higher level HP buff is better than having higher level HP buff and being forced to try to keep up using minor healing.
