Well you died in LS and then were buffing people in LS, and then attacked us in SOLB with them - I'd say the GM's were fairly lenient with the actual engage.
Which is cool, but we won the fight in SOLB - and you guys started to do your typical port back quickly, start looting and picking naked people off that were trying to get back to SOLB. We won the fight, it wasn't arguable. I don't understand why you can't just say good fight and say see you next time - and always turn fights into all night events that people just end up quitting and saying "you fucking losers" peace. |
Oh, you mean like when Colgate logged into Erudin yesterday to kill a few people at their binds?
I honestly don't see why he shouldn't be allowed to do it, what I want to address here is, that it should be adjusted through game mechanics, NOT through whoever sends in the most petitions. I will quite frankly not report anyone for anything unless it is of abusive nature, which could ruin the server. I don't want to see people banned for playing the game, the population is small enough as it is. It is of course one way to get rid of competition to just petition everyone and their mother, but it is not a game I feel like participating in during my sparetime. |
Is that the same as Ricardo being killed and then sitting around buffing people since he was the only enchanter your side had? The point is that you guys all threaten to get people banned for the same shit you do.

Exactly my point, why argue bullshit - the fight was had RD won it, good fight move on.

Just want to be clear, in no way shape or form was my reply related to this specific incident.
I am only talking about my personal encounters with the new rules in place. |
I would kindly request that the thread is kept on topic. The topic is NOT whether nihilum or red dawn won the fight yesterday. I enjoyed about 5 minutes of running around and healing inside sol b and then there was a bunch of bullshit afterwards. Good fight, I hope we get more without GM interference and banned accounts.
I really see a big problem with the ruleset being something you: 1) Have to be aware of, as it is often changed. 2) Get threatened with just for using the existing game mechanics. It is not fun to do either, and it is keeping people from starting on the server. Noone wants to risk getting banned over pushing a button in the wrong situation. |
The game is no longer Everquest... it is For(um)everquest.... you can no longer win in game alone, it is now a battle of in game + Forums/petitions.
If I logged in today after a one month hiatus I would probably be banned within 2 hours if I didn't first spend one hour reading the forums. It becomes a job. I think that all we need in order to fix the problems that we saw yesterday would be a simple flagging system. When someone dies in PVP... make there name GREEN for one hour Seeing as we all seem to be skipping around every back alley of the rules... and those with enough nerd rage are petitioning everyone, When your name turns green don't even fucking think of PVP. This sounds like bluebie bullshit... because it is... but that's the way the CSR staff wants it at the moment.... I feel if this went into place there would be MUCH less gray area and help people from losing there chars over accidents... Also if you attacked a green name... or sat in the middle of Mass PVP with a green name healing... you deserve your ban... and there will definitive proof you fucked up... Anyone Feelers me? |
