Yeah, I was fearing something like this would be the only solution. It's really frustrating.

The thing that's even more frustrating is that the Intel card should run this fine, but for whatever reason the driver is completely freaking out when I try to play.

Hate to say it but have same problem with Intel I7 processor with intel HD4600 graphics plus built in GTX 765M nvidia graphics. It appears to be running on the intel built in graphics inspite of nvidia control panel overrides. Pixels corrupted all around character, trees, etc. Crashes so often that is basically unplayable. Compatibility mode doesn't fix. Sky on off simple doesn't fix. Drivers updated. Kind of giving up. No bios choice for turning off intel graphics.
