Take this for example. Kramer is a calm fan of sports who regardless of whether his favored team wins clearly is enjoying the game. Putty on the other hand is overexcited and popping off over a group of people who he's never met, likely never will meet, and who's victory/defeat won't impact his life in any way shape or form.
Its sports fanatics like that that bother me, who get visibly upset, shout at their TVs, break shit and get into fights because a group of people who happen to live in a region are competing for money against another group. The only exception I can rationally give to this is people who gamble. If you have money on your team winning you have every right to be upset if your team loses since you are actually losing out when they do. |
