I'm planning on switching from blue to red this weekend and want to roll a cleric. I'm torn between dwarf and dark elf. Does hide provide enough of an advantage to overcome the stats/faction of dwarf on red? Should I consider other races on red?
Thanks, look forward to starting on red.

I am partial to Dwarf because I too made this choice.
Gnome: Short = good for pvp and can see through walls. Bertox deity provides a click Disease Cloud which can make your group immune to charm unless cured. Can wear Robe of Azure Sky. Arguably the best for pure pvp considerations.
Dwarf: Short but not as short for pvp. Best starting stats for cleric. Dwarven cultural armor gives +wis/+sta/+mr/+fr in every slot. Another good pvp choice for stacking MR.
Halfling: Sneak/Hide and exp bonus. Getting groups and serverwide exp bonus make leveling easy so the latter should not be a consideration.
Dark Elf: Hide is not going to be consistent. It is only a marginal ability. You're also going to have strength problems carrying plate early on. Can wear Robe of Azure Sky
High Elf: Good wisdom but like DE will have strength problems. Can wear Robe of Azure Sky.
Human: Balanced stats. No advantages. Can wear Robe of Azure Sky.
Erudite: Bad stats. No advantages. Can wear Robe of Azure Sky.
