So yours doesnt just let you bump it up to 3440x1400 reso in the video options? Mine did. :(

Curious as I've had the same issues since buying my monitor a couple months ago. In my eqclient.ini file I have:
WindowedWidth=1280
WindowedHeight=1024
Width=1920
Height=1080

I've tried changing them to match, tried other reso in game but it doesn't seem to matter what I try every time I click any part of the screen it tosses me back into windowed mode. Help me not be retarded.

you need to set both of those numbers to match your monitors resolution. Having those sets 2 different numbers causes the exact issue you are having.

Looks good. Specially with the updated p99 graphics.
Love that screen, I play on a 50 inch TV and could never go back to a small monitor.

If OP wants to save $ get a TV with 120hz refresh rate or higher , and you can use it for TV and gaming.Plus most of the 4k tv are smart tv so you get that.
And (soon) when they make 4k games you will enjoy having the 4k tv.

I haven't been able to figure out how to scale up the UI elements when I use native resolution. I'm playing on my surface pro and with the small 12" monitor with such high resolution, buttons/text are sooo tiny. Even if I increase fonts to their max, it's still miniscule. Anyone have a fix for this?

Thanks.

EQ is very aspect ratio dependent - it was built for 4:3. Playing in 16:10 and 16:9 aspect ratios are tolerable (if anything I think 16:10 is perfect), but once you go beyond 16:9 (e.g., 21:9) your field of view gets pretty jacked up

and in regards to the UI scaling - there is no such feature. Closest you'll get is a "larger" UI.

A point worth making, you're not getting a wider field of view...

What is your desktop resolution? Set them to that size. That should fix your issues. For example, mine is 2560x1080.

Desktop was set at 1920 x1080 - the mismatch was the issue. Thanks for the help!
