I think the original Moba is the WC3 use map settings game AON or AOS or w/e the fuck it was. It was 3 points triangle and it was the basic WC3 Heroes (anti mage furion etc).

If anyone else is more OG as fuck they can educate me but that's the first MOBA design I saw.

Smite desperately needs investment to thrive, think Overwatch might finish it off.

Smite is some of the best pvp out there. Halo 5 may have the most pure, balanced pvp available, and Smite has some characters that always seem OP, but they dont pop up in every match and there are usually viable counters to everything. Plus, the lore puts it over the top for me. Fantastic, frenetic pvp action that is not pay to win. What's not to like?

Overwatch was not terrible, but not something fresh either. Felt like a 20$ team fortress 2. Cant see it last more than a few months before its a ghost town (maybe a blizzard level ghostown with all the resources they might throw at it).
