Another thing to check is to make sure your firewall isn't blocking EQ for some weird reason. You could even try specifically allowing eqgame.exe through your firewall: Control Panel\System and Security\Windows Firewall\Allowed apps

No affect!

When I get back from work today in 9-10 hours, I will play around with the router settings and play with the possibility of using wireless. Just would suck having to use the wireless dongle to play as any other application that uses my current network card has no problem.

Tried pinging the login servers from my pc i time out everytime

C:\Users\Chester>ping login.eqemulator.net

Pinging login.eqemulator.net [66.55.145.2] with 32 bytes of data:
Request timed out.

Ping statistics for 66.55.145.2:

Okay this is even weirder... My tried pinging from my wifes pc and had the same result.. Used the routers ping utility and even the router is getting timed out from the login server... yet my wife can log in to both accounts from her pc and get into game no problem

Obeast44 09-24-2016 11:48 AM

Exactly the same here...

so, another weird thing

i can get onto the EZ server just fine... the grand peq and p99 servers respond the same way though click play everquest wait for a second then back to login... where as i can get to the ez server player select and into game

Obeast44 09-24-2016 04:52 PM

Downloaded Speedify, used their free VPN service...P99 works flawlessly. Seems my ISP might be blocking it.

Kreigor 09-24-2016 06:08 PM

Speedify had no effect

another free vpn service when activated blocked me from even being able to login to the server select

Kreigor 09-25-2016 08:56 AM

I found the problem but not sure how to fix it heres the exert from the dbg.txt when i try to login to the p99 server

Looks like someone else had the exact same problem here: https://www.project1999.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=87915

I'm reading that some people were able to fix the problem by changing their shortcut target path to "C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe /c start /affinity 1 C:\EverQuest\eqgame.exe patchme" - I would try this if you're running a multi-core system. Others have had success using WinEQ.
