same I updated all drivers still nodda
|
same. Updated sound drivers and still no sound. I haven't had a chance to look into disabling setting as per a previous post.

One common issue is that you may be running audio software that doesn't let the EQ client generate sound.
Example: Asus Sonic If you are running something like that, shut it down, and then try starting up EQ again. |
I'm having the same issue. It worked fine before.
ASUS Hero VI Mobo, Ryzen System, Win 10. Did all the above options. Sound only DOES NOT WORK IN P99/EVERQUEST SOUND=TRUE So weird... I also exited my ASUS "Sonic Studio 3" Sound software. Still didn't help... |
After I "Task Manager" Sonic Studio (32 bit) Ended task and it seemed to work... IDK guys, maybe you have some sort of software like I do still activated in task manager that is affecting the sound in game.
Lets hope this info helps you guys as well. |
Any definitive answer on this? My girlfriend's computer has now cut sound for Everquest as well as Warcraft 3 and Diablo 2. Sound works perfectly on other programs, Youtube etc and for system sounds.
.INI file is TRUE for sound - that is not the issue anyone is experiencing. She updated the audio driver a few weeks ago when we first encountered the issue and it solved the problem... now it's back. Tried uninstalling various sound programs in Task Manager and add/remove programs, no luck. |
NO. I can't figure it out and it is really annoying. I miss my sound!!
|
Have you tried turning it off and then back on again?
|
I changed my eqclient.ini sound=TRUE to FALSE. Logged in and back out. Changed back to TRUE. Logged back in. Still no sound.
