The "hurr durr blue wave" argument is just semantics and pretty meaningless. But even if you play along with that game, this wave (9 points) was bigger than 2010 (6.8) and 2014 (5.7). They called 2010 a "revolution." This one was bigger, and the alt-reich media will have you believe it was a disappointment.

Democrats mourning Beto or other single races have completely lost perspective on how massive it is that they have the House. A congress divided is a congress neutered. They can't advance any legislation. It's stopping the Republicans' caustic agenda against working people. There won't be an ACA repeal, there won't be more tax cuts to rich people, there won't be steep cuts to medicare and social security.

Sorry you didn't get fascism.

Lol the midterms in 2010 was way bigger than this, you serious?

Republicans gained 64 house seats then. And I think 19 senate seats.

moving goalposts is a lot easier than self examination. refusing to even look at how they might be failing to connect with voters benefits the democrats again. dont correct your enemy when theyre making a mistake.

If the house was flipped, what exactly would you call it?

It's expected to lose something in the midterms.

Who holds onto all 3 branches for a full term? Not a lot.

The media has been hyping this election up for more than two years and this is what happens?

I'd say that's a victory for Trump.
