For a bit of context on the fattie complaint, I play on a Macbook at shit resolution so yes playing troll/ogre in 3rd person is an exercice in frustration...

Now regen vs jbb...???

As well as looking best in natural form, barbarians also look best in bear form.

Fun fact, barbarian leather polar bear hats aren't from regular polar bears, they're from barb shamans in bear form who foolishly were convinced to min max re roll.

I’ve deleted plenty of chars in their 30s and 40s. The real grind doesn’t begin until 54+. Bottom line is play what you like to stare at the most. I’d probably take jbb over Regen though. Shammies have plenty other ways to get Regen.

Troll is really the ideal race though to get best of both worlds. Can’t you do something about that MacBook? Not hard to find a better setup than that on the cheap.

Cause lizards in dresses are très chic.

Really depends. If you don't eat sleep and breath EQ, getting 31+ is a significant a time commitment. And it's probably the worst class to start over since they only really start getting good in the middle levels. You are almost up to getting chloro, venom, togors, and even summon a puppy for company. At 34 you can even start toying around with charm for awhile. Then not too long and you can start spamming JBB. You are just a stones throw from the sweetspot of shamantude.

I don't know the math behind the exp... but at least in terms of abilities and progressing thru the game...

I feel like EQ has a few different phases

10% is the abysmal early levels (1-20) where most classes don't have all their proper abilities

the next 30% is getting to 51

and the last 60% is the 50s

Is losing jbb such a big deal nowadays with epics being hard/expensive to get?

If anything the epic being harder to get makes the JBB more important ... for leveling. At level 60 it's still useful, but much more niche.
