I picked up a Frostreaver yesterday and was pleasantly surprised by its performance. Giving up 1/3 of my procs is never nice but the melee threat more than makes up for it on average.

Yeah after some more horsing around Frostreaver is my new primary aggro setup until I upgrade to Willsapper/epic. Infestation + other was and still is nice for that extra chance at an early proc (3 procs per minute vs 2) but the white damage threat on Frostreaver paired with its 125dd/stun seems to make it the clear winner averaged over time along with early into the fight before the first proc. The dmg bonus changes are nice.

Plus, as a Dwarf, it makes me feel more dwarfly and impresses the ladies magnificently when I barrel roll.

This also begs the question just how good aggro on Truncheon of Doom is now.

Pre epic , when I was leveling, I actually found it to be a decent tanking weapon.

Slow proc obviously decent for aggro and you hit fairly hard with it. Just make sure your haste is sorted

I don't see whats so hard about making a spreadsheet. None of this is subjective.

Okay so red sword and shissar still best after all this time

Shissar means Sword of the Shissar to me, not Feaverblade, bane of the Shissar. /shrug

According to my (possibly flawed) calcs:

Feaverblade primary, red sword secondary if you don't have SoD's is best agro per second. Nerfing proc hate to 400 max (excluding epic that is 500) really hurt velious weapons.

Other factors to consider: Held stats, DPS, clickies.

Oh nice. Frostreaver is more or less identical aggro to willsapper/epic over time for threat and close to 10% better than what I had.
