The only thing I can think of in EK that might possibly sustain a full group is bard pulling gnoll hill and the field area toward the bridge and druid rings. Which isn't really a "good camp" so much as Bard welfare towards the little people in this era.

Would Splitpaw be snakes or some such? Invising around a dungeon full of reds is a lot of moving parts for the average exp group at your level... I wouldn't blame them for saying no to that. Heck I'm slightly impressed you guys even managed to make it through High Pass without the group falling apart.

Man what a pathetic rant. This reads like you didn't have the balls to speak up in group and just stewed in your own anger and then posted it on the forums after the fact.

this is the most beta male post i have ever read. man up and lead your own group or take charge when you see stupid shit happening.

Answer is blues/whites.

EQ should be renamed to "Kill Blue Mobs"

There are lots of nubs on this server and it's great that there are people new to the game but a lot of them believe everything the internet tells them. The wiki is a great resource but it's not infallible.

What's also amazing to me is how everybody on Green loads up their groups to 6. There is no bonus. It's just less XP for everyone and very rarely are you killing more mobs with the extra person/people.

The social aspect of EQ also involves "listening to your elders" and learning from people who actually know the game. A lot of people have a serious problem with this, especially coming from an on-rails "polished" game like WoW. It's quite frustrating really and it's not fun, especially when these people get other people killed all the way into low 40s.

Really instead of poring over the wiki you should get a few people together and.....kill blue mobs. Lots of them. Repeatedly.

EQ ----the game where the goal is --- kill blue mobs

What's the ideal party size and group composition? When would you ever want 6 people in a group?

Well, I'll ignore the rest of your post since I don't need hate in my life. But for the spiders: I see people obviously camping a spawn, like crag spiders, and I am not going to interfere with them. I'll move on.

What he said was true. That it doesn't make you feel warm and fuzzy inside doesn't mean it's "hate."

Lol.

And in true forum fashion, OP doesn't further reply to his own thread because he realized HE was the problem and was shown that in short order in the replies. I think he was expecting much hand-holding and shouts of huzzah in his favor against these dastardly newbie players who simply didn't know any better.

If you care so much about min/maxing your XP per hour such that you're refusing to let people join your group and instead sit there LFG for lengthy amounts of their session, then you're kind of missing the overarching point of the game. Kind of ironic that you get frustrated with WoW players later in your comment when refusing to let people join your group so you can min/max your EXP is definitely more of a modern MMO player (e.g. WoW) mentality.
