The penalties mean each level requires 20% more experience, but they multiply, so you require 20% more for your race, then its recalculated to be 20% more then that new value which is 44%

Ok, is that not still lower than an Ogre or Troll SK though?

It's already been increased to the 25 mob cap.

I agree I think Bards will see an increase in pop

Monks,Necros,Shmmys Iskars will be the big alts. But ofc Warriors/clerics/rogues will see an uptick imo.

'Course it is. Never claimed otherwise, just that it's greater than the typical hybrid so many groups like to complain about.

---------------------------------

As noted before I don't recall Kunark having much effect on class breakdown on P1999 other than increasing the Monk population somewhat, Shaman too maybe to a lesser degree but Shamans weren't rare here in 2010 to begin with so that's not as substantial. Likewise, the Velious class changes like removal of class penalties didn't significantly alter class breakdowns either. It'll be interesting to watch and see if "Green" follows the same trends.

Why would hybrids go down, just because of the xp penalty? I would imagine with all the nice melee tools that hybrids would also get a bump in their dps

demokatt 06-25-2020 04:33 PM

Why did hybrids get penalty in the first place? Its not like they are better at leveling than say a shaman. Were they considered that powerful?

Every class will see an increase in population. Even more players will show up than did at Green launch.

People who didnt like/learn classic EQ back in the day, are waiting to play kunark on green. People who leveled up and burned out on classic are waiting to play kunark.

Then the 5 classes that iksar can be will all be made as alts (in varying numbers) just because active players wanna play iksar.

Field of bone is gonna be the 9th circle of hell in the first week. Basically folks /listing for scaled wolf pup spawns.

Good times coming!
