Looks kinda terrible

I'm just gunna try to accept it fully and not be critical and hope it can be enjoyed. I don't worship the books but I listened to em all when I was working a job that I could listen to audiobooks 8hrs a day. Not sure if I would have got through the parts where the author tries to imagine female conversations otherwise.

I'm hoping the tv series beats the books.

Either this show goes 40 seasons competing with some of the grandest soaps or it flops after 2 seasons.

Better chance for the former on a cheep indie budget. Looks like Amazon is pouring money into the first season tho. So.... idk. Could be bad if it only profits $1 they'll kill it and run away with the IP and steal the company car.

I don't hold high hopes for this. There are so many characters involved in the story and the story itself is so long. There is no way they'll have the time to do it justice.

You gotta have zero actual hope, but still totally commit to it and hope its good.

Yeah I mean these actors will be ready to retire when the series is over if it runs the full course. I hope they have a less of a lord of the rings rip-off way to start the adventure too. "gotta flee from the dark riders cuz I got the ring I mean..some other reason lets GTFO"

Also i'm not seeing enough plains and angles in any faces lol

Dragon lance would make a sick fantasy show if they didn’t try to modernize it.

Forgotten realms too but come on, a dragon jousting game of thrones would be sick!
